Final Design Team Pics

Well, it's almost time for customers to vote! Starting this Sunday, Sept. 2 through Sept. 15, customers can vote for their favorite entries. If you happen to be in the Walnut Creek area, I'd appreciate a vote! My Daughter's Wish is on Broadway, next door to Changes Salon and right across the street from the Catina Mexican restaurant. Even if you don't scrap, it's great eye candy!

A few more pictures

Just a few more images tonight from my design team submission - the last two pages from the card portfolio, and the first few pages from the mini-album.

Sweet dreams (Wow, I'll actually be in bed before 11 tonight!)

Design Team Entries

Just a few pictures tonight for my MDW design team entry. I have a few cards to finish for a swap tonight, 'cause a few found their way into the altered card portfolio I submitted. Here are a few peeks before I cover the dinigroom table yet again with all of my inks and papers.

Design Team Entry, check!

I dropped off my design team entry at my favorite scrapbook store today, My Daughter's Wish. Even if I don't make it onto the team, I'm really happy with the album and portfolio I produced, and I'll be posting images over the next couple of days. I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open tonight ( I know so many moms who are on the work after the kids go to bed until midnight schedule, and it's almost bedtime, ladies). I will post a couple of pages from a mini-album I did at the Jackson retreat, because it's Matt's current favorite. Our one and only trip to the snow last winter... I hope we get more of it this year!

card swap

Here are a few cards I've done for a swap I'm participating in. The theme is embellishments. I have tons of little treasures stored away, but when it came down to doing the cards, I found it rather difficult to use multiple embelishments. I guess I'm usually an ink and paper kind of gal.

I like strange things

A few weeks ago I got some new stamps from River City Rubber Works, and have had fun playing with them. Among others I picked up an anatomy set, a phrenology set, and morse code stamps. I have an unnatural attachment to anatomical heart images, so I've been creating a series based on that stamp. I can't wait to play with the others (especially the one that diagrams the cuts of beef on a cow). Matt thinks it's a little morbid, but I don't see anatomy pictures that way at all. It's more of symbol of exposure than morbidity. At least I view it that way...
